NorCal Wildcats Basketball Club has a lot to offer to kids of all ages!  Our open house is for every child interested in basketball, whether he or she has played for one our teams in the past or is just starting to play basketball.  We are proud of our programs and look forward to showing you and your child(ren) why NorCal Wildcats is a great basketball club that is committed to teaching the game of basketball to children of all ages!

Now is the time to get yourself ready for the upcoming basketball season!  NorCal Wildcats Basketball Club, in conjunction with Get Fit Davis Sport, is pleased to announce our Strength & Performance Program.  This progam is available for girls and boys in grades 3-8.  Along with speed and agility training, special focus will be given to core strengthening in order to help players become stronger and move better on the basketball court.  Participants will also be provided with tools they can use to train on their own when they are not in the gym and learn new and fun conditioning exercises which they will be able to use for many years to come.
Qualified personal trainers and sports conditioning trainers from Get Fit Davis Sport will work directly with your young athlete to reach their potential and have fun in the process.  NorCal Wildcats and Get Fit Davis Sport look forward to introducing this basketball-specific training program to young athletes!
The cost for the 4 week program is $30.  Sessions will be held at Get Fit Davis Sport (1809 Picasso Ave) on the following dates:
  • 3rd-4th graders: Tuesdays from 4-5pm on September 15, 22, 29 and October 6
  • 5th-6th graders: Wednesdays from 4-5pm on September 16, 23, 30 and October 7
  • 7th-8th graders: Thursdays from 4-5pm on September 17 & 24 and October 1 & 8

Our Fall season will run October 2015 - March 2016.  Boys in 4th - 7th grade and girls in 5th - 7th grade** are eligible to tryout.  Tryouts will be held October 17-18, 2015 at Harper Junior High School (4000 E. Covell Blvd., Davis).  Complete details, including times for each grade, will be posted soon.
** 4th grade girls are eligible to tryout out for 4th grade boys team or 5th grade girls team

Are you: An experienced Wildcats player? A rec player with skills? A kid who just loves sports and wants to compete?

Welcome to Sunday Shootouts: Once again, NorCal Wildcats is offering opportunities to play pick-up basketball in a supervised setting. This is a chance for current Wildcats to get their rhythm back and for local athletes to test their game in a fun no-pressure atmosphere.

When: October 4th & October 11th

  • 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.             4th Grade Boys; 5th & 6th Grade Girls
  • 1:15- 2:15 p.m.                  5th & 6th Grade Boys; 6th Grade Girls
  • 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.                7th & 8th Grade Boys; 7th & 8th Grade Girls

Where: Harper Junior High School (4000 E. Covell Blvd., Davis)

What to expect: Coaches will be on hand to help things run smoothly, not to coach or ref! This is an open gym, you do not have to be there for the entire time. Stay as little or as long as you like. Old school pick-up: winner stays, next five rotate in, players call their own fouls (though we will help the little ones a bit!). Two full-court games will be running.
