Wildcats Basketball Training Academy provides custom ability-based instruction for basketball players ages 7 to adult. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced player, WBTA training methods will help sharpen your existing skills to help you play at the next level.
CAMPS: For the past six years, we’ve held summer week-long day camps and holiday mini- camps during the December break and spring break for both beginning and competitive players. Registration information for our next camp is available on our camps/training page.
TRAINING: In addition to our Camps, we offer three different training opportunities for beginning and competitive players with our instructor Coach Jean Gelpi. See his biography.
1) PRIVATE TRAINING: one-on-one personal training sessions. $50 an hour (or $250 for six sessions—one free!)
2) SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING: sessions for two-to-three players working at the same skill level. $30 an hour (or $150 for six sessions—one free!)
3) SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CLINIC: weekly 90-minute group clinic on the fundamentals for groups of four-to-twenty players, grouped by skill level and age. $125 for five 90-minute sessions.

8th Grade Team's Car Wash Fundraiser was a Huge Success!
The Wildcats 8th Grade team with the help of their parents, siblings, and a friend washed over 100 cars on Sunday! The weather was perfect and each player did their part in making the car wash a huge success!
Davis Hoops Camps
For the past five years, Davis Hoops has held a dozen camps helping young players, ages 7 to 14, to increase their basketball skills. Coaches include current and former high school coaches with assistance from college and high school players.
In response to parent requests, we are pleased to offer two sessions of our summer All-Star Camp. Session one will be Monday, June 14 through Friday, June 18, 2010. Session two will be Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23, 2010.
Our summer camps are run by coaches from Davis Hoops and the Davis High Men's Varsity Coach, Dan Gonzalez and JV Coach Bob Silva.
